xPress™ Component Library

xPress™ components are available as part of Vicorp's Professional Services offering and provide the key building blocks of applications to give a rolling start in developing new applications. xMP allows groups of elements to be built up into larger building blocks, without losing the separation of content and configuration from the core logic. xPress(tm) uses this functionality to create pre-packaged building blocks upon which most automated applications are written. The key benefits of xPress(tm) components are:

• Providing the key functionality for applications "out of the box"
• Flexible implementation to build functionality around the components
• Enabling full branding and customization of components

This ensures that whatever application s are required , the common features will be available from the word go .  This giv es a head start in development  and provides cost and effort efficiencies, without restricting the functionality. For example,  a n account management application for a utility company, could use the Account Balance, Change of Address, Meter Reading and Credit Card Components to build up  the application, each of which can be individually tailored to your brand and user profile needs.

Using xMP you can add any other required functionality, such as dynamic messages of the day and adding a top-level menu to allow your customers to access the separate features.

Vicorp encourages third party developers as well as it's technology partners, to add new components to the xPress(tm) library. We have attractive technology sharing agreements to ensure that this is a win-win process for all stakeholders.
