xMP Training Services provide the quickest route to in-depth understanding of xMP, and hence represent a rapid track to productively utilising the many benefits of the xMP tool suite for service creation.

Training courses are held in the Vicorp training facility or at your site. A maximum of five delegates can be accommodeated in any course session. Attendees on the Service Creation courses are given a copy of the xMP tools together with limited-term licenses so that they can continue to gain experience and expertise in the weeks following the formal training sessions.

This course provides an overview of xMP and its approach to the creation, configuration, deployment and management of interactive voice and multimedia services. It covers:

• The relationships between the xMP tools and the roles and activities involved in service creation and management

xMP Service Development

These two courses give a comprehensive practical grounding in the techniques of service creation, configuration and testing using xMP. The courses demonstrate all the major aspects of service development in a practical, hands-on manner. The beginner module covers the following aspects of xMP:

• Creating projects
• Organising the logical structure of the call-flow and the project
• Playing information to the caller
• Collecting information from the caller
• Deploying and testing services

The advanced module includes:

• Creating and using reusable components
• Inculding data processes in the service
• Interaction with back-end information systems
• Extending the functionality of xMP by using custom code libraries
• Generating call detail records form the service
• Advanced content management
• Creating services whose behaviour varies according to run-time parameters
