xMP Studio - for easy content management
|
|
xMP Studio is used from within xMP Director to configure an application for particular requirements without needing to alter the logic (callflow) that is created in xMP Director. It is supplied automatically with xMP Director but the features are set out in detail here.
Whilst still viewing the call-flow, xMP Studio can be used to manage all the prompts and grammars that are delivered to callers. An application can thus be
- branded in different/multiple ways
- provided in multiple languages to meet the needs of different calling communities
- re-presented with new personas, announcements, menus and 'variants' - such as fast-track and slow-track

- Faster application development with separation of roles
- Save time by automatically importing hundreds or thousands of prompts
- Create or modify 'look and feel' of application with no risk of damaging call-flow logic
- Apply new languages, brands or other variants easily without requiring access to code/call-flow
- Define and create CDRs independently of application developer - e.g. to ensure adherence to standards or to add audit features post deployment
- Create individual CDRs for individual clients or business units - even from within the same application
- Track the status of content/prompts - e.g. validated/non-validated
- Allow Service Operators or Call Centre staff to deploy prompts into live applications (e.g. Welcome, Promotional or Emergency announcements)
- Improve quality of recording process with full contextual scripting and additional director notes
- Easily modify the "look and feel" of the application based on any arbitrary logic and parameters without coding it into the call flow (e.g. time of day, brand, type of customer, language, persona, user experience level, open/closed for business etc.)
xMP Studio enables the user to:
- Modify an application without changing the logic or access to the call flow
- Manage the Content (prompts and grammars) of the application
- Specify "Dynamic Prompts" to enable Service Operators to change prompts within a live service at run-time via xMP Console
- Quickly add new brands or languages to a service, independent of service logic
- Add transcript notes for Voice Talent and export/import recording scripts
- Automatic import of recorded prompts
- Create and configure Call Detail Records for different business units
- Alter Time of Day logic to enable the service to act differently based on time of day/day of week
- Create sophisticated mappings between any parameters/logic and resulting prompt/grammar (of which Time of Day is one example)
- View Audit Trails detailing changes made to the application
- Work independently of the Voice Application developer to specify and deploy the VUI and prompts
