Comviva Partners With Vicorp to Launch Best in Class Self-Service Applications Created With Vicorp's xMP Service Creation and Execution Environment

 

London, Nov 7th, 2011 - Vicorp, the leading provider of service creation software for automated voice and video solutions, today announced a software license agreement with Comviva, the global leader in providing mobile solutions beyond VAS. Comviva's solutions are deployed by service providers in over 85 countries and power services to more than 850 million mobile subscribers globally.

Comviva will deploy xMP software as part of its self-service strategy for delivering enhanced customer service to customers and mobile operators throughout the Indian sub-continent and Africa. 

Following an extensive supplier evaluation process, Comviva chose Vicorp as technology provider for creating and managing customer self-service portals for service providers across IVR platforms from a number of vendors.

Vicorp's xMP rapid design GUI and component reuse capabilities are important to Comviva's initiative because it enables self-service applications to be rapidly created, enabling a library of vertical applications to be built before tailoring for individual customers.  Vertical applications and services can be deployed and centrally managed across a network of IVR media servers from multiple vendors.  This approach allows Comviva rapidly create, deploy and manage services whilst at the same time allowing them to choose future best in class IVR engines that can run their applications without change.
