Avery Glasser joins Vicorp

Glasser will be responsible for the creation of product, communications and corporate strategy for Vicorp internally, as well as for its partners and enterprise clients on a consultative basis. Glasser will engage with Vicorp clients to assist them in their strategic direction and planning, maximizing the use of emerging technologies and standards. "It is recognized that delivering customer facing solutions is about compromise," says Lee Cottle, COO. "Compromise can only be achieved from a thorough understanding of technology and business goals and this is where Glasser's real world experience will be key." Glasser started his career at MCI's Enhanced Voice Services group, designing IVR applications, consulting with customers and eventually serving as Product Manager for one of the largest carrier IVR deployments in the world. He then pioneered sales-focused speech recognition applications while at The Hartford before joining Genesys as Product Manager for its enterprise voice portal solution. While at Genesys, he became a core member of the European Managed Services Team. During his time overseas, he brought his design and prototyping skills to companies such as VOICE.TRUST and VoicInt Telecommunications. After returning to the United States, Glasser joined Opus Research as an analyst where he performed research and created strategies for many leading companies within the contact center and telecom ecosystem. He was then appointed Interim CTO of VxV Solutions, a voice biometrics company spun out of Opus Research. Most recently, he managed the release of Junction Networks' new onSIP Hosted PBX service.
